Description:
The Model 3022 is a piezoresistive silicon accelerometer packaged in a ceramic substrate with a sealed ceramic cover. The ceramic provides an excellent bonding surface for the customers application specific adhesive. The accelerometer consists of a micro machined silicon mass suspended by multiple beams from a silicon frame. Piezoresistors located in the beams change their resistance as the motion of the suspended mass changes the strain in the beams. Silicon caps on the top and bottom of the device are added to provide overrange stops. This design provides for a very low profile, high shock resistance, durability and built-in damping over a wide usable bandwidth. Description:
The Model 3031 is a piezoresistive SMD accelerometer designed for demanding high volume applications. The accelerometer is ideal for applications requiring a miniature light weight accelerometer with outstanding performance. The Model 3031 incorporates a 2nd generation MEMS sensing element providing superior long-term stability. The accelerometer provides a millivolt output signal and features mechanical overload stops that provide shock protection to 10,000g. The Model 4630 is a low noise triaxial accelerometer offering both static and dynamic response. The piezoresistive accelerometer incorporates integral temperature compensation that provides a stable output over a wide operating range. The three independent circuit assemblies are hermetically sealed and can operate on common or separate power supplies. The advanced MEMS sensing elements are gas damped in order to provide a wide stable frequency response.
